WHAT IS DIRECT CREMATION?

Direct Cremation is the removal from the place of death,transporting the remains to the crematory, securing and filing the necessary paperwork, obtaining the permits, providing a simple container for handling the remains, (required by the crematory)
WHAT IS THE COST FOR A  DIRECT CREMATION?

The charge for a Direct Cremation is $1720.00. This price includes the crematory. The only additional charge are for copies of the death certificates. In New York City the charge is $15.00 per certified copy. New York State is $10.00 per copy. We will provide you with a price for any additional merchandise or service that you desire.

MAY WE HAVE A FUNERAL SERVICE?

Of course. We have chapels available for you to have a service with or without the remains present.(refered to as a Traditional Service.) You may also use our chapels for a memorial service (with or without the cremains present.)

  • WHY DO I NEED OFFICIAL COPIES OF THE DEATH CERTIFICATE, CAN'T I MAKE MY OWN?

    You need official copies for any business transactions you must attend to. Banks, Insurance companies, Stock brokers and Surrogate courts all require offically sealed copies.
  • WHAT IS THE PROCESS INVOLVED IN ARRANGING FOR A CREMATION OF MY LOVED ONE.

    A simple call to our office can start the process.We will ask vital stastical information about the deceased and your relationship. We will prepare documents for you to sign, including an arrangement contract, authorization forms giving our firm and the crematory the right to cremate the remains. We will make an appointment for you to meet with us at our office. We will discuss any further services or merchandise you may wish to select. At this time you will sign all contracts and authorization forms and make payment.
  • WHAT IS DONE WITH CREMAINS?

    You have many choices. You can take them home and display them. You can have them buried in a family plot or intered in a niche located in a cemetery. You may also opt to have a burial at sea.

    HOW MUCH DO URNS COST?

    It depends on the material and workmanship involved. Precious metals such as copper and bronze are more expensive than spun metals such as tin and steel. Solid woods such as mohogany, cherry,maple, and oak are considerabaly more than pine or poplar. Our urns vary in price from $75.00 for a simple spun bronze metal to $1450.00+ for a cast bronze.

    WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?

    We accept Cash,Money Orders,Personal Checks, American Express,Master Cards, and Visa. Payment must be made prior to cremation usually at the time of the arrangement conference.
